Adult & Children's Education
Christian Education is one of the most important activities of the Church. Church school is available for Toddlers through high school; and meets Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Regular attendance in Church School helps mold the foundation of a child's character. Adults meet Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the Library. Christian education starts in September and runs through June, corresponding with the school year.
St. Clare's Thrift Shoppe
The Thrift Shop is open each Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the basement of the parish (Morse) Hall. Clothing, jewelry, household and many miscellaneous items are available for purchase.
Emergency Food Pantry
Grace Church is a member of the South Jersey Food Bank. Our Emergency Food Pantry is an important outreach ministry of the parish. Each Wednesday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm volunteers gather to make available food to those in need. In addition to supplying food the Director and volunteers offer other assistance to those who need it.
Project Interaction
Each Sunday breakfast is served to those in need at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Camden. Grace Church supplies the pancake mix for this ministry as well as volunteers to serve on Sunday.
Men's Club
The Men's Club sponsors many of the fund raising and social activities of the Church. The Men's Club also sponsors the Italian dinner, St. Patrick's Dinner, Roast Beef Dinner, and the Octoberfest. They participate in the Fall Fair.
ECW (Episcopal Church Women)
ECW is a woman's organization which provides a major fund raising arm of Grace Church. The ECW is committed to both the local parish and the Diocesan activities. They support many charitable activities throughout the year.
Prayer Group
The Prayer Group is composed of all those in the congregation who are interested in praying daily in their homes for the sick, shut-ins and anyone who is in need of prayer.
The Altar Guild
The Altar Guild of Grace Church consists of a group of dedicated people who "dress" the Altar for all services, maintain the vessels, linens and vestments for worship, trim the candles and arrange the flowers. The Guild also schedules memorial flowers and memorials for the wine and wafers used at services.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), a 12-step addictions recovery program, meets Wednesdays from 7-8 p.m. in the St. Martha Room. All are welcome.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Lay Eucharistic Ministers are licensed by the Bishop to help administer in services. Lay Eucharistic Visitors assist Fr. Kirk in taking Communion to the sick and homebound.
Layreaders
Lay Readers are volunteers who read the scripture readings and prayers during Sunday services. Contact Marian Daly for more information.
Acolytes
Serve at the Altar for all Church services. To serve as an acolyte you must be at least 9 years old. Training is provided.
Ushers
The ushers Serve at all Sunday services, distribute the bulletins, and collect the offering.
